In the last few months, there has been a considerable increase in spam posts. Most of them share the following characteristics:

1) Brand new account.
2) User posts a message along the lines of, "This is my first post. I'm glad to be here."
3) Message makes no mention of hockey.

Here's a recent example:

Hello! I'm new at all to this kind of community forum.
Wish to learn a great deal as well as discuss. Many thanks!

When you come across one of these posts, please don't respond. Just ignore it, and it will go away.
