I cannot believe the amount of "DESIGNED IN CANADA-MADE IN CHINA" gear he sells. Pads that were $599.00us a few weeks ago are on clearance for $199.00us. What the * is he paying for them. I hate to be the guy that just bought his for $599.00. I love the SLW series Vaughn that's not so SLW. Be careful what your buying boy's and girls, there's a lot of s--t out there.

Not everyone can afford that gear. I like the slw slim pad,sliding toe bridge,flat face knee rolls for under 700 shipped to your door.

your initial capital on chinese gear is less, but the amount of use you can get out of them makes all the difference

You are much better off buying used Canadian made gear than new made in China gear. We need to support local business, whether it's the store down the road or on the other side of your country. By buying something made in China you are taking jobs away from your friends, your family, and your neighbours. The next time you are unemployed, think about how many new jobs you could pursue if more manufacturing was done domestically.

Or you could get the pro matrix 3, slimmer, sliding toe bridge, flat flace, just as flexible, and lighter weight for under 700 to your door.

I live in michigan and both of my parents retired for gm i dont wanna hear you boohoo about jobs. Look around your house your house you all are guilty. The matrix does not suit my style or maybe i would buy them. I am using pro ccm vectors now i got the for 400 off of goalie monkeys website and they were very helpfull. I also got blew off when i emailed don simmons about a pair of pads and i think i still have the email they sent me, Half of the people on here probably dont even drive american made cars then complain about the economy.

Also my local store is peranis so how would i still not be supporting someone in my area. Peranis is probably the biggest hockey chain around and all this dogging of everybody else makes me not want to buy from here. eric you must be an obama voter. CHANGE. lol

Retired or were laid off?

If they retired from GM I really dont understand your comment. You'd basically be saying "my parents were lucky enough to qualify for retirement from a company that fell into big financial problems before they were laid off so they still got their pension and we're ok right now... * on everyone else who wasnt so lucky"

If they were laid off and you're calling it retirement then you're still saying * off to everyone but its coming as some defense-mechanism and you're crying as you type it which is more understandable I guess.

It is also usually not a good idea to come onto a forum that is going to have a mindset one way and attach that mindset with ignorant and ill-thought-out comments.

From what I have gathered you dont wear Simmons, have a grudge against Simmons because you didnt like their email response however long ago, and dont like the economic stance that Mark, Simmons and most of the Simmons supporters take yet you visit the forum to make an * of yourself. Either way I can already tell you are going to be one of these kids who gives me a brain aneurysm with some mind-bogglingly mentally-challenged response so I'm just going to leave this thread as dead.
