CALL OF DUTY 2 MULTIPLAYER- I'M HOOKED.

Postby mark57 on Tue Nov 03, 2009 3:42 pm

Who play's on a regular basis. I'm hooked and the games are starting to get personal ;) . I play the 64/64 player game and see the same guy's almost everynight. It's hilarious when you start killing the same guy and he or she come's hunting for you LOL. My kid and i get right into it and some of the games are unreal action. There's alway's a bunch of spectators who are afraid to jump in. Anyway i want to know who play's and your GAME NAME, so we can make this really personal and i can kick some A. :D

I started playing the Call of Duty series from the original on the computer platform (multi-player online) and never strayed. The games started being formatted more for console systems which made 4 and 5 a bore on the computer.

COD 2 was the best of the series... closely leading the original and then 5, but I hated the modern aspect of COD4.

I hate playing first person shooters on anything but a computer. I loved playing cod 2 back in the day, it is a good time.

I thought the maps were too small in cod4. I think it is more tailored to the a.d.h.d style gamer rather than a little bit more of tactics involves. Don't get me wrong, I still think it is a great game.

The only game I played hardcore league was the original counter strike (up to about 1.5) . The whole league play added such an intense (and nerdy) element to the game. I feel bad for my mom, cause she must of been scared of how I would turn out when I was a teen sitting infront of a computer playing cs and yelling locations of guys.

Edit: I played cal, I can't remember all the divisions, it wasn't the top one but it also wasn't the bottom.

I like how i criticize cod4 but then talk about how I played counterstrike in a league. I'm such a hypocrite haha. Looking back on it, I would of enjoyed taking cod2 more serious. It always seems to be a never ending series of good gun games. I always found myself submerged in battlefield cod or counter strike at some point or another.

Gottcha, I never really got into counter-strike... went from Rogue Spear R6 to COD then stayed with the COD series... COD was I just played in open, COD2 we kept a team together most of the time the game was out so ran from Open to IM to Main to Invite in CAL, Open to Pro in CEVO and got some invite to TGL Pro after but that was the last competitive season of COD2 online before things moved to COD4 and 5... which is funny because things have progressed back to COD2 because of the gameplay.

As dorky as it sounds I miss the nights of gaming, I became pretty good friends with a couple of the guys to the point they were invited to my wedding.
